Love is one of the mostly talked about concept of this world. It is also one of the most important concept of every human being and we can say it is one of the need of every person in this world. Love is related to actions and feelings so only living things can do love. Defining love is difficult in simple words however we would try to give a definition which can be understood easily.

Definition of Love as an Action:

We can define love as an action of someone towards something (living or non-living thing), where someone would create the love when someone would start caring about the something.

Examples:

• Parents care about their children and they create love, and both parents and children feel that love. Even people surrounding them can feel that love.
• People care about their pets and plants and they feel love and also receive the same lovely feelings from their pets and plants.
• People also care about their non-living things like their cars, homes etc. and they feel love towards them.

Definition of Love as a Feeling:

When someone found something caring for him/her, he/she would start feeling love for that something (living, non-living).

Examples:

• When children see their parents care about them they feel love for their parents and children start loving their parents.
• When pets and plants see their caretaker caring about them they feel love for their caretaker and they also start loving them in return.
